That’s really strange…

Is it only the quicksaves? First screen shows you in the saving menu, you didn’t overwrite, correct?

Playing on windows or joiplay or other emulator?

I never touched anything in the Renpy Standard Game files, so my ability to help may be limited!

Can you reproduce the bug?

perhaps there was an error when i put the pc to sleep or somesuch, i havent been able to recreate it yet. yeah, i was on the save screen only taking a screenshot for an example to show, but not when the problem occurred. i'll let you know if it happens again, and maybe why/when/how it happens.
im proceeding carefully from just after where the save broke, checking regularly as i go.

thanks! Just to be save, try to save only when there is a textbook, or on the map screen :)

Theoretically anywhere should be fine, but that way you absolutely can‘t save while in some kind of temporary loop the game doesn’t write into saves.
