Ookay, finally got back and got at least through to the two books stage. Pretty fun in its simplicity. That heartbeat is a lot more effective than it has any right to be and the torchlight is a great mechanic to keep things quick. Door collisions, visible locked doors, and maybe some environment decor would all be neat next steps.
