Kai was just holding Ren gently but firmly to his chest, running his fingers through his hair comfortingly. His tail was wrapped around him as a blanket, giving him as much warmth as he possibly could. He was looking down at him so, so lovingly...he was tempted to sing to him-which btw Ren hadn't admitted this out loud to Kai but like-he fuckin' loved Kai's singing y'all already know he did-and it was actually really calming-
M : "...And Katsuki would do the same. Trust me- he really would- he'd give the whole world to Ren, even if Ren doesn't deserve it. So, he's my son- hand him over."
Monica slowly started walking towards Kai...Ren's eyes opened a bit, he yawned, and looked up at Monica.
"S-STAY BACK-"
He held onto Kai..he was also terrified.
