Fantastic work, extremely well written stuff. Spent the extra money to get the second chapter and boy was that a good decision. I have to say though, I found possibly my favourite bug of all time in it. After the conversation with Leah at the beach, some of her text conversations were misattributed to Pete instead (pictured here: https://ibb.co/sWKdWF1)
To reproduce the bug, after I got the notification sound for receiving a text, I checked all my contacts to see who it was from from left to right, finishing with Pete, which is I think why the dialogue got attributed to him. Really though, I laughed so hard at it that I honestly think you should leave it in.

Okay after some further testing, it is indeed whichever contact you looked at last who gets attributed the dialogue. I used this to forge my own Jamie route, which made me tear up from laughing so hard.

I managed to recreat the bug. The problem is that, after getting the message, I give the players the opportunity to open the phone and check any contact, which as you have found out, messes up the attribution of all following messages. At that moment, you're supposed to just click on the screen to move forward and not mess around anywhere :p

But that's easy to fix, thanks for poking around and finding that out. As a reward, I'll have to make some secret easter egg path where both Pete and Jamie participate in a miss wet t-shirt contest to make those messages sort of cannon.
