Having played Submerged, I can tell you've improved a lot in terms of overall technical skill. The environments look a lot better, the animations as well and the addition of physics is a big step up. However, the gameplay itself, as well as the atmosphere and horror elements, have taken a turn for the worse. A puzzle game doesn't feel all that great when you have an instakill space zombie on your ass, and jumpscares always have been and always will be cheap. I really enjoyed Submerged, this, I did not.
