The itch.io client says that the game is not compatible with Windows. I downloaded and extracted it using the browser but I am opening this topic just to let you know :)

No, it just doesn't load at all. It loads up a messed up form of the menu screen and then crashes. That, and I'm unable to even download it using the itch.io app, as it tells me that windows isn't supported. I had to download it using google chrome, which was then how i came to my current issue with the game not loading up.
Is there something I'm missing or not doing correctly? The game seems relatively small in size (In terms of MB), so I don't imagine it should be an issue with my laptop. I tried running it from the .rar file, then I placed the executable file into a folder, and both times it crashed like this.
