Played the game as promised, even though quite late.
The main problem with it, as I think, is that it seems more like gambling than a game. Maybe there is some strategy/thinking behind getting high scores, but it feels that it's too random for that. I would in any case be curious to see videos of how people got their top results. I almost got to top-10 (2300+something) by accident (as with any of my good playthroughs).
The best strategy seems to just place 20 balls of each color at the same point and hope for the best. There was some time when I generated some huge amount of green balls (my computer really lagged) with this strategy. It felt unsatisfying for that to not count in any way. I think having total number of balls (instead of number of red-ones) as a score would be nicer.
Alternatively, I think you may remove time limit and stop the game when all balls are of the same color (or their number reaches some maximum capacity). My final play, when I scored 2300+something, balls were not done eating each other and reds were positioned very well, and once again, it was unsatisfying for the game to stop at such a spot in my best attempt.
