I think you should let the minimap come as a surprise to the player instead of taking away control at the very start of the level, and make the puzzles a bit more flexible.(If you make the wrong move, you're pretty much soft locked and have to restart the entire game.)
I don't like to just give out free rates. I will if I see some user friendly improvements, though!
