They surfaced and swam to Scuttle's perch, where he was sitting, surrounded by human objects

"Hey Scuttle!!"

???: "Oh-hey Kai, how ya doin' kid!?"

"Pretty good-I found a bunch of cool human stuff!!"

???: "Oh really-lemme take a look!"

Kai dumped out his bag on the rock, excited

He kinda just stayed by Kai, while they didn't exactly have the BEST relationship, they tolerated each other.....the bird, not Kai xD

???: "Hey Flounder!"

He examined the objects and picked up the fork excitedly

???: "Well now-now this-this is really something!"

"What is it!?"

???: "Well it's-it's uh-um-a dinglehopper!-Y-yeah-h-humans use these to make their hair all pretty!!"

"Flounder are you sure you didn't just make that up? Even I know something wouldn't be called a dinglehopper if it's from the humans!"

Scuttle glared at him

???:"Are you questioning my expertise!?"

Kai cut in, not wanting them to fight

"Hey-hey I'm sure you're telling the truth-here, why not look at this one!?"

He quickly handed him a waterlogged old pipe, trying to change the subject

He grunted a little and turned his back, just swimming in circles

"Hmph..."

"Snarfblat...?"

???: "Yeah-humans use these to make music!"

"Music....?"

His eyes widened in realization

"Music! T-The concert!! Oh nonononono-father's going to KILL me!!"

today a large celebration was being held for Kai's dad, King Triton-a concert at which Kai was supposed to sing-he had a fantastic voice-but he had COMPLETELY forgotten about it-
