"Wait....JESUS I FORGOT ABOUT THAT, I WAS SUPPOSED TO REMIND YOU! W-WE NEED TO GET GOING LIKE-, NOW!""

He was already diving below the water, swimming as fast as he could back to the castle

"Bye Scuttle!!"

???: "Anytime sweetie!!"

(ree-)

(Ree-)

He swims down....only to re surface

"Well are you coming or not?!"

nope he was already WAYYY ahead of Flounder-in the meantime...Ursula, the deadly sea witch who had long ago been exiled from the kingdom(and who is my favorite disney villain of all time-) had sent her pet eels to search the waters for a piece of information or useful tool she could use to bring down King Triton once and for all and rule the ocean for herself-she could see through her eel's eyes-she caught a glimpse of Kai swimming and smirked. Now this-she could use. ANYWAYS-Kai reached the castle, Flounder frantically swimming behind him

"K-KAI WAIT FOR ME! I-I DON'T WANNA BE ALONE OUT H-HERE"

His father was waiting in his throne room, extremely pissed off expression on his face-Kai was innnnn for itttttt(can you do King Triton because I am extremely bad at fighting with myself lol-)

(Lol alrighttt)

"Kai.....Why in the world are you late for this, you knew it was an important day yet you still disobeyed my orders..."

"I-I'm sorry-I-I didn't m-mean to-"

"That is not an excuse, why...we're....you....LATE?!"

Those last words echoed through out the Water around them, his trident in his hand hitting the ground as he stood up, looking angrier

Kai flinched and shrank into himself a little, bottom lip quivering. Flounder quickly swam out from behind him

???: "I-I-It's not his fault!! ...T-There was this shark, see! A-And it chased us-a-and we tried to get away...b-but we couldn't! A-And then-and then there was this seagull and-"

Merpeople were explicitly forbidden from going to the surface. Humans were believed to be dangerous, but Kai had always been curious-and too stubborn to listen to his father's warnings or lectures. And like-obviously-seagulls are land creatures sooo-
