Excellent stuff! Very playable but fairly challenging. This is my favourite entry of the lot that uses future/past movement projections.

Only actual "complaint" that I have is that the gray/white color palette feels a bit sterile. Perhaps it was intentional given the game setting.

Developer

Thanks you for the feedback!

The actual plan was to make multiple environments for the levels: a factory (where the robot was created, some sort of maze, maybe something related with the city…), but I only had time to make 4 levels and it was a bit pointless to spend more time making new tilesets.

Wow! This is really polished. The "future vision" works really well, and the game is challenging.  I tested/reviewed it in a video:

OMG! It is quite impressive for me to see my game on a YT video with a good review! Thanks you very much!

The platforming physics feel a lot more polished than most of the other platformer entries I've tried, so thumbs up on that. The sound effects are EQ'd way too loud and it would be nice if the moving platform cycles reset on respawn to keep players from having to wait for them to cycle back after dying.

Thanks for the feedback! You can change the volume in the pause menu (P or Escape) moving the head of the robot.

Good to know. You might want to make stuff like that more obvious in the future - I never would've noticed the robot head volume slider without this comment thread. The sound effects are still kind of on the loud side. I had to drop the volume down to what looked like about 10% to get it to a comfortable level.

I've played "I wanna be the guy" but there are too many traps in this game that make it hard to enjoy the game.

Developer

I am sorry for that. I had the feeling that the levels would be too small or the gameplay too short by just having 4 levels.

Great work... this was enjoyable to play :-)

Thanks you very much!

Congratulations to your first game and that you did it in time, that's awesome! Hope you had fun and learned something new. I like your theme interpretation and that the character breaks in parts if he dies. Very well done, especially for the first time! Keep on learning and coding!

Thank you!

Thin the green ball kills me every time even with the prediction of the future I can not move forward.

Developer

During the development I run into multiple problems with the projectile, so I made it if the vision of the player activates it, it would not kill you. Otherwise, it might seem to be activated by the vision but it is not.

Anyway, thanks for playing and your feed back!
