"Ugh, Selki i told you just call me my actual-, oh forget it...what have you decided to report to me this time, is my room a mess or is collecting starfish a problem?"

"Siren. The beacon has arrived."

"....W-Wait what...Did you just say THE beacon....has-, where is it!"

"He's in the dungeon. He swam into the castle today, like he knew....there's no doubting it's him."

"So it's a person...-sigh-, well i guess it's time...isn't it mother..?"

She nodded

"It is..."

She put a comforting hand on his shoulder, smiling at him

"I believe in you, Siren. Make our people proud..."

While he did not like he was the one who had to put a end to the beacon, he knew that he had to choice....nor did he want to disappoint his mother, his people, or the kingdom...he stood straight up and "Smiled" to her mother

"Right....let's get going..."

His mother could see right through him. She looked him in the eyes

"Siren...no one is going to hate you if you can't do this. We can find another way-"

His smile slowly crumbled away, knowing he couldn't fake it so there was no point in lying

"I know that mother, but it's the prophecy, if i don't do it....who will?"

"..."

She looked away. Selkie cut in.

"The beacon KNOWS our prophesy, prince pup. He came here willingly. I bet he wants to die!"
