There’s a chance the exact algorithm is hidden, to prevent users from “gaming the system” and try to give themselves extra views/plays.

Like, is it a play when you actually go through it fully/a certain amount of time?

I doubt it would count someone playing the game “fully”, as the site has no concept of knowing what that means for each game. I imagine it counts every person that spends some time or above interacting with the game itself.

I just wanted to know because I wanted feedback on my Part 1 to know how is it and what not

I’m not sure how understanding how the algorithm works will help you get feedback. Someone playing the game doesn’t automatically mean they had a positive or negative experience.

If you are looking for feedback, you can head over to the Get Feedback board, where users play each other’s games and give feedback. It is a good idea to play other people’s games too before posting, to help others in a similar situation you are now.

Yeah like the other person said, there's no real way of counting that like I kinda figured.

And what I meant by the feed back part is that if pretty much a majority of the people didn't actually play it, it means it'd be less likely someone would leave a comment about about saying whether or not it was good. And since I haven't heard anything about it, it made me wonder if people actually played it. Like out of supposedly 100 people, I would expect at the least 1 person to say something.

But thank you for the link to that board! I still know very little about how this site works so hearing stuff like this from other people is helpful.
