Well, that film's soundtrack was definitely a reference for me and I read a lot of Anne Rice as a teen (and also recently while writing this album).

For me it is the most amazing Vampire movie there is (that i know of) .great story even if a bit sad and great soundtrack too. i remember well when it came out to theater in my country...i was 14 years old and i was not supposed to be able to see it because the law thing showed to be at least 16 years old  to watch it , somehow i managed to pass through that stupid law and i'm so glad i saw it :)

your soundtrack definitely shows your liking for that movie soundtrack and Anne Rice books :)

I watched the movie at an early age as well, I think I was twelve. I really liked it and the portrayal of vampires they did for it. A few years later I discovered the book and Anne's Rice chronicles and read most of them.

i bought the book of intervieuw with a vampire a few years ago and recently bought Lestat the vampire and queen of the damned but not read them yet ,i had bought the one with armand but someone decided to borrow it from me and lost it so i guess i'll have to buy it again someday.

looks like i have a lot to read ahead of me

Indeed! The Vampire Lestat is probably my favorite of the bunch.

by the way i thought you may want to know what i am going to do with your vampire soundtrack ?

i started making a game with rpg maker a few months ago and  at the moment i'm doing a catacombs area where i believe it fits well

and planning to do an vampire area too later , perfect soundtrack for such areas :)
