Fun couple of tracks! For a soundtrack, I'd recommend finding a DAW (or a different soundfont than the MuseScore default) to give the piece a more professional sound. Looking solely at the music, I enjoyed how each piece matched the description you gave. I can imagine this being a quirky, chamber ensemble-esque piece like the new Link's Awakening soundtrack.
