Hey everyone! I'd love to hear your thoughts on the game. In its current state there are bound to be myriad bugs wigglin' around in there, so feel free to let me know if any popped up during your gameplay.

Additionally, you can get in touch with me over on twitter @mangosaucedev or via email at mangosaucedev@gmail.com.

This game REALLY needs a frame limiter, it causes my computer to get really hot. I really don't think it needs to be running at over 200fps.

Thanks so much for the feedback! I'll look into limiting the FPS to 60 in future versions. Cheers!

Something up with the download. On the download page, the Install space is blank, and has no options to select. Had this problem with multiple games, and I've seen multiple bug report threads about it, but i've never seen a definitive answer on what causes it.

Strange! I'm not sure if there's anything I can do to fix this issue... The download works perfectly fine in most cases, it seems. I haven't been able to replicate the issue but please do let me know if the problem persists!

the problem seems to be with the itch desktop app. i was able to download the game in firefox.

I'm glad you found a work-around! Sorry you had trouble in the first place!

This is awesome feedback, thanks so much! Just today I've implemented keyboard support for the UI. Adding the ability to move diagonally without a numpad is definitely another priority on my list, thank you for the suggestion!

The crash you experienced is probably caused by either an input bug or the enemy AI getting stuck in a loop. Both issues have been fixed for the next update (coming soon)! Super glad you like the concept, I know it's a bit niche but I hope that as I add lore/story elements to the game that the story will shine through. Cheers!

Thank you for the continued feedback! I love hearing it! :D

So, currently floors have multiple exits, this is intentional! I will be changing this in a future version, however.

The crash you experienced I'm 99% sure has been fixed in the upcoming Friday update; I was having some trouble with enemy AI getting stuck in an infinite loop, but not anymore.

Lastly, seeded random generation is only partially supported in this version, so even with the seed it may be difficult to reproduce a bug. However, that is a tremendous idea to make the seed visible for future reference, so I'll be adding that in the next version! Hopefully once I find a good RNG library to use, the seed will be useful for reproducing issues.

For release 0.3.1 - I'm a novice, haven't played in years, so please forgive the ignorant observations! I'm not getting very far. Still on level 1. :(. It would be great to offer some tips  for novices, maybe to get thru level 1. I think this would help understand the game dynamics, sort of a self-help tool. Also, I notice the layout changes as you move thru the maze - flooring appears and disappears at the edges. Is this the equivalent of walking around with a flashlight in a dark cave?

Thanks for playing! I do plan on adding a miniature tutorial in future versions of the game. Until then, I'll gladly expand the help screen to provide more useful info. Also, yeah, tiles will become obscured by "fog of war" when not in line-of-sight. The effect isn't very pronounced in this version, but in more cramped levels of the dungeon, line-of-sight will be an important game feature.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave feedback! It always really helps. :D
