Yo. So...the game works and all, but I don't come through the Start bcuz the Buttons on my Controllers don't do anything. I tried changing the Controller Settings in Steam VR but it just keeps loading. Does anyone know why it keeps loading? (I will try waiting for a long time later)

I was able to fix this by adding the VivaProject application to steam as a non-steam game and then launching the game through there. It then prompted me to pick a community-made controller config.

Uhhh. How do I add it to Steam? I usually opened up Steam VR and then launched the Game manually through the File.
