hotline miami vibes! I loved the kickback, a good way to balance the OP shotgun. not at all a point of criticism, just curious, why does the blood splatter move? is the blood being randomly redrawn from an invisible set of splatter points?

It's a particle effect, that is emitted from the enemy from the direction of the player. It can render the pixels of the blood at an angle or across multiple pixels, but as the resolution will only display 64x64 it will switch between which one it renders making it look like it's moving.


TL;DR It's a bug!
