The game seems ambitious and interesting, but the english translation is on a google translate level of awful. And to be honest, reading a VN is not very fun if you have to guess what the sentences are supposed to mean half of the time. I'd be willing to give the game another go if the translation got a complete overhaul.

Hello. Unfortunately, we simply do not have the money for a better translation. The budgets are far from those to even think about the idea of improving translation. The money that comes from the our patrons, they should also go to other people: interface designers, artists and some other people who work for us. We were looking for proofreaders/regular translators of a good level, but these prices are more than any of our budgets on the patreon combined.
Well, as for the fact that the VN game is a bit of a wrong opinion, as we think. From VN there is only the narrative left, everything else is already other combined genres. If you don't like the translation, we can offer you to do other things in the game: I assure you, in addition to the prescribed storylines, there are enough opportunities in the game.

I really enjoy the game but the poor English is taking me out of it, especially the gendered pronouns frequently being swapped, which makes things confusing.
