Advantages:1. The pacing and the spooks in the game were very exciting! It made me more and more paranoid as I progressed since I was expecintg jumpscares or scary creatures chasing me or something like that. So, the game managed to create a perfect ambiance for a horror experience.
2. The house didn't seem to be emty which is very nice. I loved attention to detail and interactable objects here and there. It was a exciting place to explore!
Disadvantages:
1. The ending, though, was very anticlimactic. It couldn't even be considered a jumpscare as neither the appearance nor the visuals were scary enough to make an excellent finishing point of an adventure.
2. Main character's house tho seems rather empty comparing to the ghost house. I think that the important lore part could be given on the phone right at the entrance of the house or it would be nice to pay more attention to the starting area. I mean, we don't even switch off the lights as we set on our ghost hunting adventure.
Overall:
I'd rate this little game 4/5 stars. But at the same time, I believe that this was a very good little horror game. I think that a couple of changes to the ending would easily make this project a 5 star horror on itch.
