Wow, this was amazing! Super addictive bullet hell game, made better only by the cats vs. roomba theme :). I really enjoyed the design of the enemies and their attack patterns, and the difficulty curve felt smooth. Gaining new abilities on rebirth was a nice use of the theme, and it added some variety to the game since you could retry with a different approach to your 9-life skill tree. It gets pretty difficult as you progress, but that’s expected for this genre.
The art is crisp and the choice of enemies are hilarious. Roombas with knives, Roomba prince with teeth…I probably have a few more enemies to discover, and I’m looking forward to it. The music and sound effects also felt perfectly balanced, and added character to the game.
There was one small annoyance where the space key causes you to exit the upgrade screen, I often didn’t get to use my upgrades because I tapped it accidentally after dying.
Super polished and fun, I’m probably going to keep updating my highscore on this post. So far it’s a measly 39,000 (6 waves). Everyone else is so far ahead lol! Edit: Got to 200K, 15 waves :)
