so far every single review positive and negative talks about paper Mario, i never played paper Mario so as a unbiased player i suggest you give this one a go. its is amazing. i loved almost every minute of it. the only issues i have is Vi's quest was a let down, the fact i need to wait for the right moment of the drop to freeze water is annoying and the card game is boring.
But the art, characters, humor, and story make up for said complaints ten fold. it is worth every penny. and then some.
i hate turn based combat with every fiber of my being but it even made that fun (although i'm told that's from paper mario but the point still stands.) the only reason its not my game of the year for 2019 is that Pathologic 2 just beat it. but then agian i wouldn't give Pathologic 2 to a kid, or even some adults for that matter.
if you like numbers 9/10. a game for kids thats still enjoyable for a man child like me
