I think you have very good production values, from the music to the visual flair (I especially like how the shapes morph - very nice!) But for whatever reason I just couldn't get into the swing of things. I felt like I hit a lot more of the notes than the game said I did, I just didn't know when exactly I needed to hit the note. Also, the connection between the shapes on screen and the buttons I need to press didn't come naturally.  I think I would have preferred to see it more like Gitaroo Man does, where the shapes fly in from the direction you need to press.

Thank you for your feedback.

When I considered how shapes would appear, I wanted to keep it simple by keeping everything in a row.

There’s been a lot of good feedback about the timing of the notes. I think it would have been good to make it more obvious when to morph (when the shapes are directly overlapping), changing the sensitivity of the scoring would have helped but I think it’s also possible that some of the shape changes may be slightly off time.

There is mapping between the order of the shapes on the keyboard and the logo of the game (the shapes actually resemble the letters in MAX somewhat) but I think it would have been better to make it more obvious to the player.
