Hi CapBear and Lycia,

I like your game. Well done!

This looks like very sophisticated graphic. What kind of game engine have you used.? In addition can you also describe a little about your process and challenges when you have been working on this game? And finally what have been your inspiration?

Thank you for any comments from your side!

Hi Bene Gesserit,

We used Unity as our engine of choice. For the process of making the game, we have divided our process into 5 stages.

Pre-production(a few hour) -> Engine Proof(7 Days) -> Alpha(4 Days) -> Beta(2 Days) -> Final Product(1 Day)

For the problem that we have to faced during this are that we never make a 3D game before, but we made a lots of 2D games before this game jam so we already know the basic of the programming and some process of it. We also have to study online(University) while working on this project which is quite tiring for us. About the inspiration part, we didn't really have any inspiration from any game except that inventory mechanic from Resident Evil series, we are all just want to try making a simple 3D game with simple mechanic and design and some narrative to it so this is a result of that. When we are having a brain storm about the game idea, we actually got 16 ideas for the game but we chose to go with an escape room mechanic due to it being easier to create. This game suppose to have 20 ending per our design but was cut to 9 due to the time limitation, these in-game items that you see such as bonfire, sword, the monster or broom was suppose to be the part of the extensive ending too.

Thank you for playing our game, It really helps us a lot when knowing that people are having a good time with our game!
