Loved both but menus and such much easier to navigate in 2 and overall just nicer. As much as I panicked first time playing due to the loan payments, once I figured things out and made sure to start off with fish as likes it became apparent that it isn't as hard to accomplish if you follow what main missions are needed. I especially love that the main goal involves getting 3/4 guilds instead of all because the quests can be a a bit tough when starting out( looking at you servant and workers guilds). I also like how the start of the game is more fleshed out and feels more fluid than the first. I do wish there were more npc's available like the first one but figure thats more due to the 2nd taking time and having less story content right now.
