Is this in the new demo build that just got posted (0.7)? I clicked through and saw no such error myself. If you still have the 0.4 build of the game, then the current update should fix this and several other bug issues.
I checked again, once I deleted the previous demo and erased the saves I had in the new demo the error didn't appear anymore.
