yeah i spend a lot of time making each members having their own skills ( except some skills that are used by two characters) other characters for later in the story are made the same way, a few skills will be in common by two people but other skills will be unique to them :) i sitll need to work on skills for later and skills for monsters too. i'm glad you like the story so far :) thank you for feedbacks also :) i fixed the things you told me earlier and updated . about monsters hps i think it's better now? i changed most of the regular monsters hp that are after the abandonned temple ( except bosses ). which Inn you mean? in the first village?
After the first village and I go up to the snow mountains, there's some goblins and scorpions there, but the HP is still quite high, and they do quite allot of damage too. It may be that I need to level up the party more, I'm not sure. Just keep at it, mechanics really do take more time to get things right. My game was super difficult due to battling for at least 2 years, which I didn't realise until I started receiving different feedback about.
So If battling is going to take up more than 50% game-play, then it's crucial to make it easier than more difficult because it's a big part of what makes up your game, so start the enemies off easy, then open up the challenge if it's too long, it just makes players warm up better. It's brutally what I did wrong with my system, and I want you to do 100x better than me in all honesty.
Your idea will really grow, but do it out of enjoyment. When my next update comes out, I'll help to put your game link on my page for people to try. So keep it going. :)
oh Goblins and Scorpions..i forgot about them i think ..i'm not sure i would need to check their stats and other monsters around . at that part of them game i was around lvl 12 -13 i think ,i guess you should be around the same? some skills unlock at lvl 15 which make battles easier too. I do not think i could do things 100 x better than you ..,i'm lacking knowledge but it's fine i try to do what i can and still learning :)
i'm taking a few days away from making, i think i need it..the last 2 weeks i been at it way too much . a little time to actually play other games in my free time, I have not been drawing too for over 2 months i kinda miss doing that..i'll do one before getting back into game making probably next week.
