Thank you for the quick reply! This only happened with Barkplug, and I wasn't able to proceed through the battle in order to see if it affected other enemies. It used to only affect Nugget but the last time I tried, it also affected Sausage. The healing items/mewgic still work; I just can't use any offensive attacks/items.
I still see the marker (image attached). There's also a weird bug where I can talk to Coriander during the fight somehow, but then her text gets stuck on the screen (image attached).
The only other thing I can think of is maybe I tried this fight too early? I haven't gotten the tire yet, but saw this area was accessible anyway and decided to give it a go. I thought maybe this was the first fight and then there'd be another when I have the special item.
