Found a little bit of an issue where the game crashes out in the main menu or the gallery (and seems to be more common on the gallery). There's no error messages or notable things to confirm what needs to be done to trip the crash, and it seems to be on any part of the main menu or gallery, and very much at random. That said, it doesn't seem to happen during the story or when you go into the menu from there (so long as you don't go back to the main menu). The software is still open, but it just kicks me back to my tablet's home page, and when I go back in, it goes back to the loading screen. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2020 (SM-T510), with Android 10, which I know uses technology that is a little on the out-dated side now, but given this is a visual novel, I wasn't expecting so many crashes... don't know if any of this helps in the slightest with nailing the bug. Really enjoyed the story though!
I did some testing on my Android device and wasn't able to duplicate the issue. My device has a bit more power than yours, so I think you may be right about the Tab A's specs causing problems.
Date an Otter's gallery is a bit different on the back end from my previous VNs, so it's likely a bit more demanding/unoptimized on those screens. I know a way I can reduce memory usage on these screens, but it'll have to be in a future patch. I don't know when/if that patch may come, but you should still be able to run other VNs (Date a Mink's free if you need something to test) .
Also, I'm happy to hear this issue didn't get in the way of the story! ^^
