Really cool platformer, reminds me a lot of the old Castlevania games. I would have really liked some sound effects, as the game felt empty without them, especially the opening room where there were no sounds at all. But the art was good and the game felt responsive.

Thank you, Vintro Studios! I am a big fan of retro games, especially Castlevania. Sound unfortunately got cut due to the time crunch. It's my first time doing an official game jam and I got a bit too ambitious. I started late too, worked for 9 days straight! Next time I'll have to plan a bit better. I'm working on a post-jam version that will include everything I wanted for the jam, including sound. I'm excited to see how much better the game will feel with sound, I'm sure it will make a huge difference. I'm glad you like the art, that's my favorite part of development. Btw your game was especially memorable for me, because of the art style :D
