How does your game fit the theme?
In a world where turtle took control on the entire Galaxy. Bertie and Slider joined into one turtle due to a failed experiment. Together they have to escape the place to find help somewhere else. Luckily for them, all blue turtles are similar, and all pink turtles are also like their pear.

Could you explain this further, I really didn't understand it. I love anything with turtles, but I couldn't figure out what I was meant to do.

Developer

Sorry for the delay! As you might have seen, your turtle had two sides, one blue and one pink.  The other turtles were either completely blue or completely pink. The idea was to infiltrate between them by orienting your turtle in such a way that a blue turtle would look at your blue side and similarly for the pink's side. If it is the case you are able to go through them without being spotted (dying). On the ground, you might also find some tiles that would change your shell's orientation depending on how you enter the said tiles, that'll help you go further I hope. If you are still willing to give it another shot, have fun! And thanks though for trying in the first place, always appreciated.

I liked the idea. Altough, I might be dumb, but I just couldn’t figure it out, how to advance after the three blue turtles. Without checkpoints it was a little slow to walk all the way back to that part. The turtles looked cool and the music was fitting.

Off the bat: the art style is unique and the music holds up. Presentation on the whole was impressive, definitely one of the more enjoyable games to look at.

As far as actual gameplay goes, I think you have the makings of something here, if a little underdeveloped. I didn't totally buy the two-sided turtle as fitting with the theme, though I like the idea of having two avatars who can interact with different areas, something in that Fireboy & Watergirl lineage.

On the glitch side, the turtle has a tasty habit of getting its head stuck in the wall, requiring a restart. This might not be so frustrating with faster movement and checkpoints, anything to get you back to where you were faster.

Overall, I had a fine time, I could see a satisfying light puzzle game coming out of this.

Thanks a million for the compliments and recommendations! For the theme fitting, the idea was to "joined together"  two different species of turtle creating this new range of possibilities that you saw. But it's okay if you do not consider really part of the theme,  discussion is the whole point!

Of course, I can tell you all put in some real thought and had a good time with it! Nice job all around, bon travail!

The turtle looks amazing and I love the idea! If you have time I suggest trying to look into blocking the light beams when a turtle walks through it. That makes it a little clearer why the turtle is able to walk through the beam in one direction but not another.
