Ah I figured out the issue! I didn't know that there was a block puzzle in the room with the blue glitch friend. A black block gets stuck if you move only one onto the red checkerboard platform and leave the room and come back. That's just part of the glitchy experience too :)
I'm sorry to the card scanner for moving them all the way into the textbox area.. they didn't seem happy.
This music and presentation is really so hypnotizing. I'm really in love with it
