Not sure what's going on. At the start of the game, if I walk a step or two to the right, I die, for no apparent reason - it's just clean flat ground until the pit - no enemies or obstacles that I can see, before or after dying there. Is there supposed to be a hidden spike trap that will show up (it never appears), or is this just a bug?
I can get a little farther in the game through sheer memory and experimentation, but I can't see anything that kills me until a bit later after the pit, when I can finally see a spike trap. Am I playing this correctly, or is there something wrong with the game, or is that the hidden secret?
