Crashing seems to happen when the in level timer reaches 2 minutes. If you play in "Time Attack" you can see the timer, then pause the game before it reaches 2 minutes and select "Retry" to reload it

For me the crash is occuring almost immediately

Well there goes that theory. It was pretty reproducable for me, but that is unplayable. I am so sorry.
