DAY 5:

Well, this freaking battle system is a lot harder to program than I expected, but I have the "fight" system MOSTLY working and a saving system up and running. If you don't do anything when the line moves across the screen, the game becomes unplayable, but other than the other not working buttons, you can kill the enemy and it will be removed from the overworld. I'm still using Papyrus's house as a test world, but once I get this battle working, I will start making the actual first area. I have to change my goal from finishing the darned thing to getting the first section up and running. This programming is taking a lot longer than I thought and, I've been so busy working for college so I haven't had my time fully invested in this, but it's been enjoyable nonetheless.
