as a subscriber of many games on itch,  it absolutely is not normal. which is why im no longer a subscriber of this game. or maybe you mean 'normal' in the same sense as the lgbtiqwerty+ community, where they says its perfectly normal, but in reality its so damn rare and ab-normal that many ppl in the world never even meet a genuine sufferer of one of those endocrine disorders. in any case, on itch, 'normal' is when notifications are used for game updates, not messages about a  devs pipeline dreams about updates.
