I don't natively have Mac OS myself (Since I cross compile from Linux to Mac), but it should support MacOS 10.12 or later on Intel 64-bit processors. So it looks like you slightly missed the cut! (^_^); If you update to 10.12 or later, you should be ok!

Thank you for the reply , sadly my mac is a 2009 model and is unable to update.

May I ask for a refund in this case?
