Oh, and make sure you have the latest ERAS. There was at least one problem with sail to that was fixed in Feb. 2021, where if you spent the night in the ship cabin, then moored in a remote shore, then back on the ship, the sail to for nearby locations was broken. That was fixed just a short while ago.

Yeah, i have always played in full screen mode; but otherwise happy to bring it to attention. thanks for the windowed mode suggestion at least i'll be able to sail again, until a fix comes about.
in relation to updates, i set up maelstrom and the mod packs how it was initially recommended to install; and since then it has always installed automatically without my intervention when i log into itch. So i just made sure to go around and manually check if maelstrom and or mod packs needed an update, it looks like i am all good in that respect.
