Actually, looks-wise his character design reminds me a lot like Layton Tuck. Before I read the text, I actually though it was Layton aged up, or a relative of his. lol.
Speaking of character designs, I'm loving the new style, and actually think it looks better then the one that came before it (at least from what I see of Alanna). The detail of the clothes is just gorgeous. Also, those two backgrounds are so beautiful and idyllic, it just makes me want to visit! :)
