Thank you for your comment, I'm really glad you appreciated the update and the new features! :)

I honestly considered maybe taking into account MC having the same name as another character, it would definitely add to the immersion. But the amount of work it would require would probably not be worth it, as not many people would even see it in the first place, I suspect, unless they purposely choose a name one of the main characters has. Also having to remember to do this every time some character's name is mentioned would be difficult for me. That being said, I might do it on occasion? Like maybe, when ancestors of MC are mentioned, I could say that MC was named after them if they have the same name. Things like that. No promises though! IF is already a lot of work, I need to pick my battles, lol.

Btw, I would just like to specify that 8YR will not have any explicit scenes! Even if the games' rating is subject to change, I don't expect it to go any higher than 16+.

It was meant as a joke. lol. I only said it because you mentioning you were gonna have the game warn the player if they used the same name as an existing character, and that just popped some funny thoughts into my head if the game had done the opposite. As I play quite a lot of these 'choice' style games, and once DID accidentally choose the same name as a character in a VN (which made me start again), I've sometimes entertained the thought of what it would be like if a game had some sort of acknowledgement on choosing the same name as an existing character. Obviously the person who coded it wouldn't have taken that into consideration, or if they did, dismissed it for too much work, but if they had, that would have been funny.

And yeah, I know this game isn't going to be explicit (I think I may have asked about what the rating would entail some times back, although it may have been another game I asked that about). Again, none of them were suggestions, just funny scenarios that popped into my head when I read of your diligence with the name thing.

It's fine, I understand perfectly! But I did entertain the thought, that's why I wanted to mention it. :)

And for the rating, I just wanted to make it extra clear, because, at the moment, minors can read and interact with the story and my announcements, so I'd rather avoid talking about anything sexual in public, I hope you understand!
