Strive's code is quite stable at this point and works on almost every computer, so unfortunately there is not enough precedent to have a good idea what your problem could be from so few details. The Debug Mod (https://itch.io/t/1137280/debugmod-v1) can often be used to avoid having the game immediately crash and for many systems it will provide a error reporting terminal, but it will not resolve the problem.
Even though you uninstalled the game, in the appdata is a folder for logs (on Windows, %appdata%/Strive/logs, though if you installed through the itch.io app, it may be in a weird location and be easiest to open it in-game through the mod menu's "Open Mod Folder"). The godot file should list any errors that occurred (updated when program closes).
Note, there is also the rare possibility that the currently used version of the Godot Engine conflicts with your system or hardware. In such case, the simplest option would be to get version 1.0a from either the F95 site or the itch.io app (not sure how, but I've heard that there is a version select). The executable for 1.0a will work with version 1.0d game files (though if you use the itch.io app watch out for it trying to update your executable).
