I was a big idiot, so I keep using Air and Leaf charges and wondering why I kept getting beat on Wave 4. Was I really supposed to have a giant leaf supply and group large collection of Air and Leaf charges forever? That's when I discovered the Peashooter. Simply clicking on the ground with a plant allows you to enjoy the game. Just try playing the game without the Peashooter, see how far you can get! This game is good, I give two very big thumbs up.
