Hello, I believe that the zombie would be blocking your way. You can clear your way before pulling the lever. Please see this video for help:-
Thanks for the video. Mine is default down and can't be interacted with for some reason, with the gate still closed.
EDIT: I restarted and the problem went away. Thanks again!
Oh! I thought that zombie is stalling enough time to get the gate shut before you reach there. I will try to replicate the issue to understand the cause of it.
