So I'm having a little bit of a problem with the patch and I'm wondering if it's to do with the fact that I have the older base game downloaded or if I need to start a new fresh game

Do you have the most recent base version? Just downloading the new DLC isn't enough, you need new parts for the rest of the game too.

i have the new version of the base game downloaded and i moved the data from 1.2 to 1.3. was i supposed to start over with a fresh base game?

You shouldn't have to restart completely, but depending on what you mean by moving data from 1.2 to 1.3 that may have caused confusion in the build which might be why the problem is happening.

Yeah, the older base game can't work with the new DLC. I'm sorry. Would you mind downloading the new one we just uploaded?

Can you provide me with a link to the newer version or do I just need to go to the base game page and download it again, sorry it's my first time encountering a situation like this

To get the 1.3 update, just download the same game :)

You have to redownload the game and DLCs, which should work (I did it a couple of hours ago
