Huh?

the fucking salt rations are brutal. i was so mad there wasnt anything past the fucking salt forest. i cant wait to play this full game even though itll probably be even more miserable.

in short: supernatural the game. fuckin salt limit

WAY more challenging then I expected! But this was amazing! Very nice aesthetics, very eerie atmosphere, and gameplay that actually makes you think because you have a limited amount of salt. I can't wait to see more of this game!

Why y'all so salty? I do believe Hot Tamale is on.

Haven't played yet, But i just wanted to say this is a very cool idea for a game!

Hey, I think I need some help. I can't pass the first level because I run out of salt too quickly. Is there a way to get more salt? thx!!

Btw can you add like a skip button for the tutorial? Like it's boring that I have to watch the tutorial every time I replay this game.

This was so good. I love the concept of using the salt to trap them. I cant wait to see more of it.

I know I may be late to the party, but better now than never. I absolutely love the premise, atmosphere, and game mechanics of this one! I cant wait to see the full, sometime in the hopefully near future!

I really liked it! fun concept and decently spooky haha

Huh, Neat!

hey, i know the answer to this question is probably really obvious, but i cant figure out what to do in the first level. can someone please explain it to me?

Awesome short horror game.  Great concept and aesthetics.  Been a while, but would always be up for a full game :)

Hello Khamelot! Thank you for this demo, I love the concept a lot!

Unfortunately, I can't play it for longer than a few minutes, due to my motion sickness. Normally I should be fine with games from a first person perspective for a while, however, in this demo, the cursor seems to be constantly moving at all times, making me very nauseous. Like a slight movement all times. Is there a possibility to toggle this off, or is this a glitch? I sadly couldn't find an option menu for controls anywhere.

Thank you very much and all the best for your game! :D

Hi there! This issue has been reported to me a few times already. Even though no patches for the demo have been planned (for now) I will ensure that you can toggle that motion effect off in the full game. And if I patch the demo, I will make sure to add that toggle too. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Thank you so much! I wish you all the best for the project, and good luck! :D

Played through it again recently!  The sound and colors at the beginning are excellent!  Great concept overall.

I would LOVE to have a full length game of this! The level design is great and it really makes you pay attention to your salt. This video perfectly captures my level of maturity sometimes. Dick jokes. Dick jokes everywhere...

amazing concept, I knew the watching Supernatural would come in handy one day

😊👍

Cool concept. I hope there's more to come.

hey, super cool game! loved the graphics and audio, I hope you continue working on this game! The salt was a cool idea, would be pretty funny if you can fight the demons with it (like throw some salt at them). Hope you don't mind that I made a small vid. on it!

this was one of the scariest things i've played. omg.

(+1)

I love the colors and aesthetic. Nice game!

(+1)

ok...looks promising! cant wait to have a full game

Heylooo, I played your game as part of the 2021 Haunted PS1 demo disc and shook my fists at the screen a lot. Good game though! Great atmosphere, captivating aesthetic and the demon trees got me every time

Thank you for playing, and congratulations for finishing it! Weird issue you got with the controller at the start of the game. Did you plug it after starting to play? If so (and if you have the time), could you try starting the game with the controller already plugged in? I would like to see if the spinning bug still occurs.

It was already plugged in as I was using it in the haunted ps1 mueseum 🤷‍♀️

Woops! That's weird. What controller are you using? I'll investigate to see if I can fix that for other players who could have the same issue

(+1)

I was using a ps4 controller. Good luck fixing it! Its great that youre putting in the time and effort to do so 😊

(+1)

I love the concept of this! It was a whole lot more tense and unnerving than I thought it was going to be as well which was a massive plus!!

Do you consider publishing this game to steam too?

When the full game is released? Maybe :)

Out of the few games I played on the Demo Disc, this one absolutely had my favorite art style. I didn't understand the last cutscene, but I really enjoyed drawing the salt, and the unique rules to exploring the forest safely. :) It's the 1st game I played in the video.

Really loved the gameplay mechanic here! Very good demo!

(+1)

very good concept and graphics design, but long cutscenes are very annoying

Gotta say, this has a great concept and is genuinely creepy. The big groot-looking guys had me spooked several times and I'm in love with the salt drawing mechanic. It's very intuitive and easy to use, and I even had fun finding unique ways to trap enemies. Excellent work!
