Proper way to interpolate pixel art?

Hi! I've seen people interpolate pixel art with DAIN and since I don't have an NVIDIA GPU, I went ahead and bought RIFE because it has a CPU mode.

I have 2 problems:
1) Even though the GIF file  or PNG sequence I use as Input have Alpha channel/transparency, my output (GIF or PNG sequence) does not have alpha/transparency and RIFE always outputs white as BG.
2) I can't find the "Limit Color Palette to only use original colors" setting that's present in DAIN. Obviously lack of this introduces blending of colors which is not really suitable for pixel art.

What can I do?

Developer

1) No alpha yet, only in the future

2) Gif output wil kinda of limit the pallet, but there is still not the option to correctly limit the pallet.

Setting the Scale to X4 sometimes is better for pixelart, but you will need to wait a little to have the other options available. (Working on it)

Thanks!
Looking forward to the update!

I’m also looking for alpha support. Do you have any thoughts on when you might look into this?

I am doing some tests to see if I can release a Beta test for alpha on the next update.

Not to necro this, but I bought Rife today assuming that I'd be able to use this for interpolating pixel art. Is limiting the palette still not a feature that's available?  Alpha isn't so bad, I can always substitute a key color for that if necessary.
