Why wont it let me drive this game is being stupid i am pressing the correct buttons but it won't let me drive

Ok. I play on a chromebook, so this strat should work. First, do whatever settings, and start the game. After you start it, open a new tab, type "wasd", and close the tab. If you try to move your car, it shoud work.

It worked once then i am trying it again because it kicked me out now it doesn't work anymore
do it again, i guess? if you use your mouse tab or controller at all, it won't work
