Haha, that was a fun read. I'm so very glad you enjoy the game so much. I love making sim games, but I also love writing romances, so this combined the two for me. It's mostly Open Mode that will expand over the next month, because the recruitable characters are each getting their own stories.
A long time ago, I thought it was silly to make VNs commercial because, why would you want to restrict who plays your game? I was a very poor girl and I knew putting any price tag on a game would keep a LOT of people from playing. Online payments are easier now and I'm no longer poor, but I do not regret for one second my free games. I will be experimenting with commercial games in the future, however. I realize now that I cannot work on VNs full time because they don't pay the bills, but my passion for them has not died over the years (like certain other hobbies).
