collision detection needs a lot of work (tends to cancel all jumps, even when the jump is parallel to or away from the obstacle, making it way too easy for a foe to push you into a inescapable corner )

Thank you for the feedback! This project is a little old now and it's been untouched for a while, but I'd like to keep working on it so your input is definitely appreciated. The collision detection with the platforms and especially the enemies definitely needs to be polished much more.
