At first I didn't want to sacrifice the cake in the fridge. It has four layers of foamy goodness, baked with love and devotion, surrounded by luscious strawberry slices. The cake is more important than the house.
But at the end of the day, you gotta do what you gotta do. If the home invader wants some cake, then they're getting that cake. As much as it hurts to think about it, the monster will sink its teeth into my cake, and I will hide under the covers and just cry.
Overall, this game is an amazing experience. The art style is a breath of fresh air. The lack of music/ambient noise is an effective way to "amp up" the lingering terror. I look forward to playing more games from the developer. Congrats, Tenkaiyo-san!
